Responsibilities:
Ø Diagnose and repair heavy machinery vehicles such as Soho Trucks, Sino Trucks, Cranes, Excavators, and other industrial vehicles.
Ø Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure vehicles are operating efficiently and safely.
Ø Perform inspections and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic equipment.
Ø Repair and replace faulty parts, components, and systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
Ø Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
Ø Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on vehicles and operating equipment.
Ø Collaborate with other mechanics, technicians, and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently and meet production deadlines.
Ø Stay updated with advancements in automotive technology and attend training sessions as required.
Ø Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workshop environment.
Ø Provide guidance and training to junior mechanics and apprentices as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
Ø Proven experience as a heavy truck mechanic, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Ø Strong knowledge of heavy machinery systems, components, and diagnostic tools.
Ø Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Ø Proficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in vehicle repair and maintenance.
Ø Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ø Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
Ø Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy parts and work in various weather conditions.
Ø Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ø Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
