Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, customer acquisition, and loyalty.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer preferences, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop pricing strategies and promotional offers.
  • Manage the airline’s product portfolio and identify opportunities for product enhancements or new offerings.
  • Oversee the development of marketing campaigns, including advertising, digital marketing, and social media initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing channels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives, including coordination with operations, sales, and customer service departments.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, such as advertising agencies, media outlets, and industry influencers.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, customer insights, and emerging marketing technologies to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
  • Support in the planning and development of new and existing products, focusing on aesthetic aspects, designs, functionality, and usability, taking into consideration future trends and lifestyles.
  • Help with the artistic direction of air and ground products to ensure the airline’s premium positioning.
  • Monitor and oversee various stages of product offering so that the materials used, and parts and components achieve the finest standards in terms of quality, aesthetics and timeliness.
  • Enhance brand equity and customer experience through partnerships with other brands, including support in planning, negotiation, contracts, implementation, and relationship management.
  • Support the development of a product brand and design guide with regular updates.
  • Develop innovative ideas for customer-facing products and designs.
  • Managing and developing the brand/product portfolio throughout the airline while monitoring growth strategies.
  • Working with the Ad Agency to grow and develops the Airline’s brand by ensuring a consistent and appropriate brand image is achieved and sustained.
  • Working with multiple teams within the airline including project managers, product developers, IT, HR, marketing personnel, and external creative agencies to ensure the airline’s brand values and image are followed.
  • Provide support for the advertising agency on the data collection process on brand positioning and growth.
  • Develops and implements creative and cost-effective plans to sensitize the public about the Airlines’ differentiation in the marketplace, value proposition, and business model.
  • Provides oversight and design input to ensure consistency of branding, voice, and messaging across all Guest and Team Member touchpoints.
  • Communicates guidelines and ensures consistency across all Guest touchpoints (advertising, inflight, airport services, loyalty, ancillary revenue, sales, HR, and internal communications).
  • Works with external partners including airports, and media to monitor brand consistency.
  • Maintain and evolve brand guidelines as required.
  • Management of branded promotional items.
  • Analyzing industry, competition, and market trends and advising on improvements and or changes to improve the airline.

Minimum Qualification and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing or a Business-related course.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Brand Management role.
  • Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work with minimum supervision as well as part of a team.
  • Proven experience in marketing and product management within the airline or travel industry.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, market research, and product development.
  • Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and make informed marketing decisions.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, including social media, search engine optimization, and email marketing.
  • Creative thinking and ability to develop innovative marketing strategies.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Experience in managing marketing budgets and measuring return on investment.
  • Knowledge of airline industry regulations, customer behavior, and competitive landscape.
