Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluation of business ideas, projects, and initiatives.
- Support in business case creation for digital products by gathering all necessary requirements, data and information.
- Support implementation of digital products and services to drive the digital agenda by ensuring efficiency in business processes.
- Analyze data to identify industry and customer trends.
- Share Business performance reports with stakeholders both internal and external to facilitate decision making.
- Analyze, visualize, and interpret business data to evaluate key businesses operations and processes, identifying areas for improvement in line with user needs and stakeholder priorities.
- Develop reports and other information products to present analysis that supports decision-making, strategy, and routine business operations.
- Knowledge transfer – Systems training and knowledge transfer support.
- Make recommendations on ways to improve systems by studying current practices and designing any modifications.
- Review, analyze, and create detailed documentation of business processes and user needs, including workflow.
- Developing and documenting User Adoption Strategies and supporting the business in change management of systems and process changes.
- Support line managers to develop and maintain business dynamic dashboards, highlighting performance against critical KRA/KPIs thus enhancing visibility and awareness throughout the business.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to aid management decision making.
- Train internal and external users on reporting tools and provide ongoing support.
- Drive operational excellence by liaising with ICT team to automate manual processes by leveraging on existing resources and Innovation.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, and Statistics or equivalent combination of education.
- 2 years of experience in financial services reporting and analysis
- Adaptable to change and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Technical expertise with data modeling, database design, and data mining,
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, disseminate, and present significant amounts of information with an attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in authoring SQL queries and using report writing tools with Power BI experience
- Exceptional report presentation skills with use of visualization and dashboard
- Strong problem analysis skills to include the use of mathematical/ statistical concepts to validate results.
- Clear and concise communication with superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact with all levels of internal and external business partners.
- Manage and prioritize work effectively with minimal supervision.
