Qualifications
- Educational Leadership experience: Extensive experience in educational leadership roles, including headship or deputy headship positions in schools.
- Teaching experience: A strong background in teaching, ideally with experience in international education and familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum.
- Post graduate Qualifications: Often a master’s degree or higher in education or a related field is preferred.
- Professional development: Continuous professional development in educational leadership, curriculum development, and international education.
- Understanding Cambridge curriculum: In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Cambridge curriculum and assessment systems.
- Strategic Planning and Skills: Ability to develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the school’s academic performance and overall development.
- Communication and interpersonal skills: Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Vision and innovation: Demonstrated ability to innovate and implement and implement new initiatives to improve teaching and learning outcomes.
- Financial management Skills: understanding the budgeting and financial management to ensure the efficiency operation of the school.
- Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion: Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment that celebrates cultural differences.
- Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of local educational regulations and compliance requirements.
- Reference and recommendations: Positive recommendations and references from previous employers or colleagues.
- Leadership Qualities: strong leadership qualities, including integrity, resilience, adaptability, and passion for education.
- Miniimum 10 years of experience in a similar position.
