Reports to: Administration and HR Assistant

Job Purpose:
The Cleaner plays a vital role in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment within the office premises. Reporting to the Administration and HR Assistant, this position is essential for ensuring a safe and organized workspace for staff and visitors.

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all office areas.
2. Perform regular sweeping, mopping, and sanitization of floors.
Dust and clean surfaces, including windowsills, furniture, and fixtures.
Properly empty trash and dispose of waste in designated areas.
5. Keep an inventory of cleaning supplies, reporting shortages promptly.
6. Assist in maintaining a safe and organized environment.
7. Support in setting up and organizing events, meetings, or workshops.
8. Collaborate with staff for a clean and pleasant environment.
9. Maintain the cleanliness of the compound, gardens, and external areas.
10. Perform other cleaning and housekeeping duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Competencies:
• Previous cleaning experience preferred.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and chemicals.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical stamina and attention to hygiene.
• Respect for infection control and safety protocols.
